Not only are they free of charge, I found for me they work the best. The first evening the dining room was nearly empty when it hit me that we were rolling from side to side. I felt so ill I didn't want to get up from the table (you know the feeling) The waiter appeared with this little pink tablet and I felt better within a half hour. He then told me to drink ginger ale and eat a green apple, which I guess calms the stomach. For the rest of the week I got these little pills from the front desk and took them for all sea days.
