Got the results for the lesions on the spine & although I really really really wish they could tell us that they are gone they are not. However, in the 10 mo since the last MRI there has been no "significant" change & that is good news especially combined with the good blood tests we got last wk. Our neurologist told us last winter that some people develop pre-cancerous markers that appear anywhere from 2 to 5 yrs before the actual cancer. Iowa City told us that it is their belief that cancer will eventually develop but I hope we can prove them wrong. For now things are looking pretty darn good. The plan is to do extensive blood work every 3 mo from now on & unless something develops do another MRI in 1 yr. Compared to last fall, we are in very good shape right now. I feel confident that the drs are going to keep a very close eye on this and IF the cancer does come we should be slightly ahead of the game since many people don't get diagnosed until they have advanced cancer. Of course it will continue to be on our minds but for the time being it has been moved to the back burner. Thanks to all for your good wishes.
