MSC Cruises Has Just Posted the Following:
The MSC Cruceros Cup, the indoor football tournament organized by MSC Cruises, one of the world's leading cruise lines, will bring together former champions of three of the world's most successful teams - F.C. Barcelona, A.C. Milan and Real Madrid C.F. - to play in a triangular tournament tomorrow in the Palau Blaugrana in Barcelona, starting at 6 p.m.
In a grand gesture of solidarity, the proceeds from this sporting event will be donated to the victims of the tragic earthquake that recently struck the Abruzzi region in central Italy.
In addition, the MSC Cruceros Cup will be included among the christening ceremonies of the company's new flagship, MSC Splendida, whose official inauguration will take place on 12 July in Barcelona, with Sophia Loren serving as the ship's truly exceptional godmother.
Today, the announcement of the MSC Cruceros Cup at the Palau Blaugrana brought together Emiliano González, General Manager of MSC Cruceros, and Álvaro Garrido, President of the Indoor Football Association, who were accompanied by the captains of the teams participating in the event: Franco Baresi (A.C. Milan), Alfonso Pérez (Real Madrid) and Sergi Barjuan (F.C. Barcelona).
The General Manager of MSC Cruceros stated that he felt "very proud to be able to support, through this sporting event, such a noble cause that will contribute to rebuilding the lives of thousands of people affected by the earthquake in the Italian region of Abruzzi. We hope that, in addition to financial support, our contribution will also provide moral support to all the victims of this tragedy".

The team of former F.C. Barcelona players includes Busquets, Angoy, Bonano, Cuéllar, Villena, Milla, Carreras, Barbará, Sergi, De Quintana, Albert Tomás, Cristhiansen, Roger with Óscar García Junyent coaching the team.
The line-up for Real Madrid C.F. features Contreras, Geni, Rubio, Ramis, Karanka, Julio Llorente, Alfonso, Dani, Amavisca, Iván Pérez, Juanma, Velasco, Vallina, Mesas, Sabido e De las Heras with Enrique Pérez "Pachín" coaching the team.

About the MSC Cruceros Cup
The MSC Cruceros Cup is an indoor football tournament that will be played in the "Palau Blaugrana" on 11 July. The tournament will bring together three of the world's most successful teams (winners of a total of 18 Champions League titles): F.C. Barcelona, which will host the event, A.C. Milan and Real Madrid C.F.
The competition will be arranged as a triangular tournament among the three teams, with matches lasting 30 minutes without stopping the clock, and with a 10-minute break between each match. The first game will pit Real Madrid C.F. against A.C. Milan, the second will be between F.C. Barcelona and the loser of the first match, and the final match will be between F.C. Barcelona and the winner of first match.
The day after the tournament, Sunday 12, MSC Splendida, a true masterpiece and the new MSC Cruises flagship, will be officially christened in Barcelona. The flagship will then depart from Barcelona on a Football Theme Cruise in the Mediterranean, calling at Tunis, Malta, Messina (Italy), Civitavecchia (Rome, Italy) and Genoa (Italy). Passengers will enjoy 5 days of sports, relaxation and entertainment with activities and events dedicated to football enthusiasts, in addition to the customary, exclusive services offered by MSC Cruises.
