MSC Cruises Has Just Posted the Following:

Get ready to celebrate Christmas on board one of MSC Cruises' stylish ships. For dreamy options choose any one of six different itineraries to discover the world. From the Mediterranean to the beaches of the Caribbean, from the Greek Islands to the vibrant coastline of Brazil: for Christmas 2007 MSC Cruises are offering these magical voyages on board MSC Orchestra, MSC Musica, MSC Lirica, MSC Opera, MSC Sinfonia and MSC Armonia.

MSC Orchestra departs from Genoa on 17 December to cruise to Italy, Spain, Morocco, Canary Islands and Madeira (12 days/11 nights). Ports of call include: Genoa, Barcelona, Casablanca, Tenerife, Funchal (Madeira), Malaga and Civitavecchia before returning to Genoa.

Barcelona
Tour to discover Gaudi's city, stopping off at Casa Batlò, Casa Mija, Guell Park and Sagrada Familia - the unfinished work of the famous Catalan architect.

Tenerife
Transfer to Puerto de la Cruz, the main tourist centre of the island and a shoppers' paradise. Visit the Botanical Gardens to enjoy the many varieties of tropical plants.

MSC Musica departs from Genoa on 18 December to cruise to Italy, Corsica, Malta, Greece, Egypt, Libya (12 days/11 nights). Ports of call include: Genoa, Ajaccio, Valletta, Rhodes, Alexandria, Tripoli, Messina and Naples before returning to Genoa.

Option to join the cruise in Civitavecchia and disembark in Naples.

Ajaccio
Tour to discover Ajaccio, founded in 1492 by the Genoese and Napoleon Bonaparte's birthplace. Visit the Casone Gardens, stop off in Parata for the spectacular views of the Isles Sanguinaires, visit the historic centre of Ajaccio and admire the Cathedral.

TripoliTour of the city and the red castle "Assaraya Al Hamra", home to the National Museum with its many works of Libyan and Islamic art. Then see Medina to visit the fascinating Ahmed Pasha Karamali Mosque, the Italian church, the Gurgi Mosque and Arch of Aurelius.

MSC Lirica departs from Fort Lauderdale on 21 December to cruise to Florida, Puerto Rico, St. Thomas, Samanà, Bahamas, (8 days/7 nights). Ports of call include: Fort Lauderdale, San Juan, Charlotte Amelie, Cayo Levantado and Nassau before returning to Fort Lauderdale.

St. John Beach Tour (from Charlotte Amelie)
Tour of the island of St. John with its unspoiled beaches and lush vegetation. Stop off at Trunk Bay, one of the mot beautiful beaches for swimming and relaxing.

El Limon Waterfall (from Cayo Levantado)
Tour of the Samana peninsula and its 700-metre mountains. In the thick forest discover small villages surrounded by plantations of cocoa, yucca plants and plenty of tropical fruit. Stop off at El Limon waterfalls, the biggest on the peninsula at 35 metres.

MSC Opera departs from Santos on 23 December to cruise to Brazil, Argentina and Uruguay (8 days/7 nights). Ports of call include: Santos, Buenos Aires, Punta del Este and Portobelo before returning to Santos.

Buenos Aires
Tour of Buenos Aires to the Palermo district, "Plaza de Mayo" with its Municipal building, the May Pyramid, the Metropolitan Cathedral, then onto "La Boca", the district famous for Calle Caminito where many Italians reside.

Punta del Este
Panoramic view of the city and its beaches, with free time to stroll and enjoy a meal. The excursion will proceed to Punta Ballena to visit Casapueblo, the residence of famous local artist Carlos Páez Vilaró.

MSC Sinfonia departs from Buenos Aires on 20 December to cruise to Argentina, Brazil and Uruguay (9 days/8 nights). Ports of call include: Buenos Aires, Rio de Janeiro, Buzios, Ilhabela and Punta delEste before returning to Buenos Aires.

Sugar Loaf Mountain and Rio de Janeiro
Enjoy an excursion to Sugar Loaf Mountain and be enchanted by the breathtaking views of this city and its beaches. Stop off at the cathedral and the Sambodromo, home to Rio's annual Carnival.

Buzios
An enjoyable schooner ride stopping off at the beach in Joao Fernandes and Ilha Feia to take some photos. Free time on the beach at Tortuga.

MSC Armonia departs Rio de Janeiro on 23 December to cruise along the coastline of Brazil (8 days/7 nights). Cruise to Rio de Janeiro, Recife, Maceio and Salvador de Bahia before returning to Rio de Janeiro.

Panoramic bus tour along the beautiful beaches of Bahia: Mirante del Ondina,Ondina and Amaraina. Free time to soak up the sun and make the most of the sea.

Maceio
