MSC Cruises Has Just Posted the Following:

This year in South America three ships in the MSC Cruises fleet offer a rich choice of itineraries and excursions.

MSC Opera, MSC Sinfonia and MSC Armonia are the three ships in the ‘Lirica' class, preparing to spend the winter in countries where tango and samba rule. Cruise to Rio della Plata, then see the lights of Buenos Aires and feel the passion of the Argentinean tango. Visit the beautiful baroque churches of Salvador de Bahia, find the welcoming vivacity of Rio de Janeiro and fun-loving Punta del Este. To break up the monotony of winter, treat yourself to an unforgettable journey on board one of the three MSC Cruises ships and discover the Southern Seas!

MSC Opera offers seven itineraries and six short cruises:

Brazil (7 days/6 nights) - Santos, Ilheus, Salvador de Bahia and Buzios, returning to Santos. Depart 17 December 2007, 6 and 27 January and 24 February 2008.

Christmas Cruise - Brazil, Argentina and Uruguay (8 days/7 nights) - Santos, Buenos Aires, Punta del Este and Portobelo, returning to Santos. Depart 23 December 2007.

New Year' Eve Cruise - Brazil (8 days/7 nights) - Santos, Buzios, Copacabana, Salvador de Bahia and Ilha Grande, returning to Santos. Depart Sunday 30 December 2007.

Brazil, Argentina and Uruguay (9 days/8 nights) - Santos, Buenos Aires, Punta del Este and Portobelo, returning to Santos. Depart 12 January and 16 February 2008.

Brazil (8 days/7 nights) - Santos, Buzios, Salvador de Bahia, Ilheus and Ilha Grande, returning to Santos. Depart 20 January and 9 February 2008.

Brazil (8 days/7 nights) - Santos, Buzios, Salvador de Bahia and Ilha Grande, returning to Santos. Depart Saturday, 2 February 2008.

Easter Cruises - Brazil (6 days/5 nights) - Santos, Rio de Janeiro, Buzios and Portobelo, returning to Santos. Depart 11 and 19 March 2008.

MSC Opera also offers a selection of short four- and five-day cruises for those with little time to spare but looking to dive into the fun and excitement of this lively part of the world. Departures are in November and December 2007, as well as March 2008, calling into the major Brazilian ports from Santos to Rio de Janeiro and from Portobelo to Buzios.
