Modern equipment offers a vast selection of treatments to provide well-being and to rebalance the body's energy. This is known as Q-AGE and will be the central feature in the MSC Aurea Spa. This impressive Balinese well-being centre will be one of the star attractions in the fleet.

Q-AGE offers a broad choice of treatments, from thalassotherapy that cleans the skin thoroughly, to sauna and steam to re-establish the skin's elasticity. Q-Age also includes an infra-red sauna to relieve fatigue and tension, a Vichy shower for lymphatic drainage, vibro-massage to stimulate circulation, aromatherapy and hydro-massage.

Q-AGE combines modern technology with the ancient Balinese art of massage:

  • Balinese Aroma, to eliminate toxins;
  • Bali Sun Rise Lulur, ideal to prepare the skin for exposure to the sun;
  • Bali Moisture of the Sun Set, perfect after being in the sun to extend the suntan;
  • Bali Luxury Men's Treatment, to pamper male clients, too.
Q-AGE and the MSC Aurea Spa offer thalassotherapy with evocatively-named treatments such as "Flowers and Sea" and "Sea and Volcanoes" to regain youthful and toned skin.

MSC Fantasia, the new flagship of the MSC Cruises fleet, will be christened in Naples on 18 December 2008. Q-AGE is already available in the MSC Aurea Spason board the other ships in the fleet.

MSC Fantasia will be the largest ship built for a European shipowner - 133,500 tonnes, introducing a new concept in ocean-going cruises. The ship will house the MSC Yacht Club, a VIP area with 99 spacious suites, reserved common areas and exclusive and personalised butler service.
