Cruise to new and thrilling experiences on board MSC Melody, the lively and fun-filled ship of the fleet.

Seven-night cruises to Italy, the Principality of Monte Carlo, Spain and Tunisia. Between May and September 2008, MSC Melody will depart from Messina every Thursday, from Naples every Friday and from Leghorn every Saturday, visiting Monte Carlo, Barcelona, Ibiza and Tunis.

From Messina you can visit Tindari and the Sanctuary of the Black Madonna or discover Etna and the marvellous Taormina. You'll then continue to Naples for a spectacular tour along the Amalfi Coast. Alternatively, visit the Palace in Caserta, enjoy an excursion to the Island of Capri or to the crater of Vesuvius.

The next port of call is Leghorn, where you can discover the treasures of Florence, Pisa and Lucca before arriving in Monte Carlo. Take a stroll through the streets of this exclusive city or travel to Nice and Cannes. After leaving the Principality of Monaco, MSC Melody will cruise to Barcelona where you can go on an excursion to see the works of Gaudí. This includes a visit to the Sagrada Familia, the majestic neo-Gothic church that is his incomplete masterpiece. Later, try some ‘tapas' - the typical Spanish snacks washed down with local red wine.

After Barcelona, the ship will call into the lively island of Ibiza, or the ‘White Island', named for its architecture. This is where to make the most of your overnight stop. The last call before returning to Messina will be Tunis. Here you can enjoy a trip around the Medina or a visit to the archaeological sites of Carthage, or visit Sidi Bou Said, a typical Tunisian village with its white and blue houses.
