Well no baking here. When I get to Audra's I'm sure we will spend at least 2 days cooking and baking because with 4 kidlets and teachers, and in home school teachers that is what you must do. And then the big Holiday celebration for the immediate family is at Audra's which means about 30 people and will be on Sunday 2 days after I arrive, so I'm sure Audra will put me to work. :grin

I don't mind that is the part about the Holidays I miss here. Audra and I working together in the kitchen. :lol

You have a great week-end at Momma's and rest!

What a gal! Do you ever slow down?
Alf called the ambulance on me tonight, as my blood pressure took a nose dive. I am okay now, just tired. I told them that it was their fault for waking me up so early this morning by shining the light in the window! Still don't know who went out at that time in the morning.
Have a nice visit with your parents. And a safe drive.

Well, the last two days I was straining, filtering, sweetening and bottling the Brandied Berries and Brandied Apricots and Almonds I made for xmas gifts. Today I started early and made some home made fully loaded Chicken Noodle Soup because we've got a good rain storm that was supposed to be here, (but it's not so rainy), then I made some pumpkin spiced bread, and we enjoyed those tonight with a salad and some whipped cream for the pumpkin bread. It was yummy.

Lots of soup left over, so I'll divide it up and freeze it and then when DD's friends come over cold and hungry (which they always are) they can nuke a pak of soup and warm up!

If this cold continues, I can feel some split pea soup and ham hocks coming up!

Liz, take care!!! That's scary.

You sound like me Joanne. When I make xmas cookies I make 8 different batches at a time and have 6 cookie sheets filling them like it's an assembly line. I'm starting candy this next week and then cookie baking later in the week. It's like arts and crafts. :)

I am good this morning and had a good sleep, in the bed. I think the problem was that I fell asleep in my chair and my chin was on my chest. So from now on I shall go lie down if I am sleepy. Thanks for your concern.
