At Xmas we flew out the day we got back. Yes it was very crowded at the airport. We also should have taken a tour as our plane did not leave till late afternoon. But we sat (on the floor) and slept. In July I am staying an extra day because the airline I have chosen doesn't have a flight out on the same day (TransMeridian) so I have rented a hotel room and plan to enjoy the extra time in San Juan.Becky
