Staying post cruise helps extend your vacation and the time it takes to get back to reality including reducing post-cruise withdrawal. We did this and I have no regrets at all. When you get off ship, just take a taxi right to your hotel on or near a beach. Pack a swim suit in your carry-on to change into just in case you can't get into your room that early and relax by the pool or on the beach. Make reservations for a great local dinner; stop into the Wyndham El San Juan for a drink at the beautiful Lobby Bar, go dancing to the great Salsa Merengue music; stop into their lavish casino and enjoy the culture of Puerto Rico. My first choice of hotel would be the El San Juan but the Intercontinetal and Ritz all on the Isle Verde are right nearby as is the Embassy Suites. On the Condado, the Wyndham also has a hotel as does the Marriot. Give Priceline a try.Bon Voyage
