My retirement?

Well this is a heck of a retirement. I've been delivering parts for Pep Boys for about a month and a half now. Approx 20 hrs a week.

Well New Years eve I was talking to a friend about his Part Time job. It's at a machine shop, he makes a couple more dollars an hr and can just about work when he wants to. So of course I ask "hey does the guy need more help"? He replied I think so. So I pursued the job last week and got it. So this week I am working Tuesday and Friday (my days off at Pep Boys. (I was going to work 4 hrs at each place yesterday but both places lost power because of the wind storm.

So I am working harder than ever during my retirement. Go Figure.

Actually Connie is still working so I want to make as much money as possible until we sell the house and she retires.

Geez than I need to look for a Part Time job in Bradenton Fl. November-April.

Am I really retired?

They say newly retired persons are generally very busy between part-time jobs and trying to do everything they didn't have time to while they worked.

You will slow down when you are ready to. Right now you just have goals. Happy Retirement :grin.

Guess what I was supposed to work at Pep Boys today- No power casue of the storms yesterday, I called the other place no power! No money for Hooked today. So I guess I'll get paing the kitchen today!

AAhhh Bradenton you say?? Home to one of my favorite golf courses, Legacy Golf Club. That is really a beautiful area. I'd work there part time if free golf was my pay.

Hey at least you get paid for your part time job. My hubby works harder at the Eagles club than he did at his job and the pay sucks! lol

He loves the job though and that helps.

I got a spare bedroom that needs painting also. So, after finish at Nieciez's come on over to Ohio! lol

Hooked you are just like Paw. After he retired he wondereed how he had got everything done and work too. Course his project after retiring was finishing our house. It had only been roughed in-he did plumbing, wiring -you name it. Work a little , Play a lot.

And don't forget that I hope you two get to stop here on your way down to spend a couple of nights...we might be too far out of your way though, depending on your route. But if you're going to meander down, then maybe not.
