Nativeway? Capt. Marvin? Capt. Bryan?

Yes, all three are decent priced. Now for the tough questions.... how hard is it to reserve? Do have to use a cc to reserve? Do they pick you up at the dock? If you have to walk to their location, is it difficult to find? Long walk? What type of boat (fishing, sail, catarman)? Do they have beverages available? I've also heard that if the weather is bad, sometimes to can't do the excursion so I am concerned with using a cc ahead of time. Should we use the ship's tour?

Hi......We just booked with Native Way. All it took was an e-mail. They e-mailed confirmation back within 24 hours. No need for cc, you will pay on the boat. Don't have to worry about losing money if the tour is canceled. Go to the website nativewaysports.com. They will meet you at the dock with a sign. They provide transportation to and from the dock. I have never used them, but I have read great things about them. The price is much better than the others. I have heard the tours offered by the ship are very crowded and more expensive. It seems sometimes you are safer booking excursions thru the ship, but in Grand Cayman it doesn't seem to be an issue. At least that's what I am counting on! One thing I found interesting is that many of the stingray tours are led by people with the last name Ubanks. Capt. Marvin UBANKS, Capt. Crosby UBANKS, Capt. Eldon UBANKS, etc....LOL So I think the money stays all in the family! Hope that helps....

Sorry, just found your question....don't know why you are having trouble. Could be just a temp. glitch with the e-mail. Can you get to the website? Try searching for Cayman Island watersports. If nothing else you may need to call them. i am sure the number is on their site (if you can get there). I hope this helps.

We too booked Nativeway because of the no credit card deposit. Last cruise the weather was bad and all tours were cancelled, one operator that I had talked to prior said no refunds so we did not book. Will be snorkelling with the rays on the 18th!!!!

We booked with Captain Marvins last time, and I would suggest you contact the tour company you choose ahead of time and ask them a few questions like I did. I aksed about the payment arrangememnts, their cancellation policy, what happens if my ship skipped the port for various reasons, transportation, etc. They were very prompt with their reply and our tour only had 12 people on it. We loved it, and highly recommend Captain Marvins. Whichever you choose, enjoy!
