I would like to book the singray city tour and snorkel.. Are either of these tour companies ok to use?

I think they were about the same price but I think Soto offers snorkeling at the reef where Nativeway does not...

Any feedback is appreciated.

If anyone has used Nativeway for the stingray tour, can you tell me what the schedule is like as far as times?

I emailed Nativeway and have not heard back from them yet. Soto Cruises have a message they will not be available until 7/23/04.

Nativeway does advertise a really nice tour called Stingray Sandbar, Barrier Reef & Rum Point Beach
its $50 pp however, it is from 8AM till 1PM and the Navigator of the Seas does not arrive in Grand Cayman until 8AM in the morning... so it would be impossible to take that tour.

Thanks

We booked and went with Nativeway this last June. A bus/van picked us up at the pier and brought us to the Yacht club. We then boarded a 40+foot boat. The boat had a restroom. A 10-15 minute boat ride and we were there at sting ray sand bar. We snorkeled there for a while then reboarded the boat for a 3 minute ride to a reef for snorkeling. This was soooooo beautiful. After a short while here we then reboarded the boat for another 3 minute ride to coral gardens. We then snorkeled here and saw beautiful coral formations. After this we then roboarded and headed back to the Yacht club. The bus/van then picked us up and brought you either to 7 mile beach or back into town for shopping. As people got off the bus at 7 mile beach, he asked them what time they wanted hime to come and pick them up. There were also cabs parked outside this hotel entrance. I never noticed the name of this hotel. All of this was for $30 per adult and $20 for children. On the boat they also served punch. I absolutely loved this tour and these people. They brought stingrays to my children to rub and take pictures with. They also dove for eel and nurse sharks to bring up and to show to everyone. An A+ operation. You'll love them

I too am trying to book a cruise with Nativeway. I've heard lots of good reviews from this message board of Nativeways. It's been about a week and a half since I've sent my first e-mail. I tried sending another e-mail three days ago but no response to that one either. Maybe their system is down.

Hi Herbert
I just booked with Native Ways for a November tour and was told they only now make 2 stops... either the coral gardens OR the reef...since boarding and unboarding people takes up valuable time... not sure this makes much of a difference in the tour. Is there any difference between what you see at the reef and coral gardens?

Thanks
