NCL Dream - reviews of ship, trip?

Hi! We sailed on the NCL Sea about two years ago and loved it. Now, it seems the Dream has replaced it and they've switched up the itinerary a bit so we're going again! This time, we're going with our four kids. We're all excited about it. I'm thinking of booking through Travelocity. Aren't the prices the same no matter where you go? We want oceanview rooms. The girl at Travelocity is trying to book me in obstructed rooms - on GG I think. Can you see anything through these? I'm confused.

Anyone gone on this ship? How does it compare to the Sea? I'd heard bad things about the Sea but we loved it. Good food, good service, clean room, etc. Any help or tips would be appreciated. Thanks!! Michele

I used Travelocity to book my first NCL cruise to Alaska on the Dream last summer and got a great price, however,in booking my second cruise (a back-to-back on the Dream for later this year) I am booking through NCL because I got a better price. I couldn't get Travelocity to adjust to the Latitudes price which is lower.

Obviously since I'm booking again on the Dream I really liked it. It is a smaller and older ship but in good condition and the crew was incredible. The Dream is large enough that I didn't feel trapped and yet intimate enough that I was overwhelmed. I particularly liked hanging out on the back deck on the 8th floor; Le Bistro was very nice, as was the Italian restaurant.

Have a great cruise!
