Norwegian Cruise Line has important information regarding Norwegian Pearl’s seven-day Alaska sailing from Seattle, Washington on August 28, 2011.
Because of a technical issue affecting the ship’s propeller, it is necessary for the ship to undergo repairs while in Seattle. Therefore, we must delay the ship’s departure from Seattle in order to complete the repairs. The ship will overnight in Seattle and depart at noon on Monday, August 29. Embarkation will continue as scheduled and we invite our guests to experience all that the ship has to offer during her stay in Seattle.
We sincerely apologize for this necessary change to the itinerary and understand that missing Juneau may cause some disappointment. In order to compensate for the inconvenience, guests will receive a refund of one-seventh of the cruise fare paid provided to their onboard account. In addition, any government taxes and fees due from missing Juneau will be refunded on board.
The revised itinerary has the ship leaving on Monday at noon. It will skip Juneau on Tuesday and remain at sea. It will arrive at Skagway two hours late at 9 AM Wednesday but will stay two hours later and depart at 9:30. From there it will continue its scheduled itinerary.
