NCL Pearl Propulsion Problem

This has been announced on the website with details as to what they are offering to those who are affected. It is a no win situation for many. The passengers have to make other plans, which isn't setting too well with many, but if the ship continues to sail with the problem cruisers will not get the ports they thought they would get. Pods problems are plaguing many newer ships.

I have to say I was on the Pearl to Alaska a few weeks ago. There was very bad weather in the pacific when we left Ketchikan and the captain decided to take the inland all the way down. We arrived in Victoria at about 8:20 instead of 6:00 pm so the visit was cut considerably short, however, I must give Kudus to NCL for taking that route. conversation with passengers from other ships indicated that they also arrived in Victoria late, but they suffered with the weather in the Pacific with many passengers ill during the night and day of traveling. Thanks NCL. Whatever action they take with this propulsion, I am sure that the passenger safety is foremost.

The Pearl was definitely out of the water. I have to assume they were working her.
