NCL Sea - Airport?

I am considering a family cruise for this x-mas on the Sea. Houston has 2 airports; IAH and HOU. Which is better for the port? What are transportation options/costs from either? We are a group of at least 6 in at least 3 cabins.

According to the port's official web site, Hobby (20 miles) is closer than IAH (45 miles). Links to ground transportation were on the site. I didn't see any pricing.

marvholly - depending where you are flying from, you may not have a choice. From Seattle our flight went to IAH. They have the shuttle for $20.00 p/p one way, to the pier. Since there were 4 of us, we didn't want to pay $80. After researching options, the best deal we found was to rent a car from Enterprise at the airport, drive to Seabrook (close to where the SEA is) drop it off, and then Enterprise drove us to the ship (at no extra cost). We paid a total of $35.77, because Enterprise at Seabrook has a special arrangement or something with NCL that waives the one-way drop of fee. Then we had a car waiting for us when we returned. We drove it back to the airport and the cost for that was about $45.00. I'm sure they have vans for the six of you. It was a fairly uncomplicated drive and definatly worth the savings. Here is the information if you are interested:

Enterprise (800 736 8222) Group branch number is 0659 for seabrook.
They can connect you to Seabrook where you can make the reservation. Ask for the NCL cruise rate. You can have the car for 24 hours at this price, but you have to have it brought in to Seabrook by 11:00 Saturday so they can get you to the port on time.

Pickup Branch: Return Branch:
HOUSTON INT CONSLDTD FACILITY SEABROOK
17300 JFK BLVD STE A3 1815 BAYPORT BLVD
HOUSTON, TX 770326028 SEABROOK, TX 775863440
(281) 230-8200 (281) 474-4466

If you don't want to drive, another option is Houston Airport Van Services. (866) 301-4715. You can hire a van and driver for around $95.00. Advance 2 week reservation (Ray)

I researched this one a lot before our cruise in June. The NCL transfer is $40pp from/to IAH. Its only $20pp from Hobby but is only offered to and not from. A taxi is $45 one way from Hobby to Barbours Cut. I found a taxi operator who was able to send 2 large minivans for our group of 11 which held us and all of our luggage. This ended up being $90 plus tip each way - not bad for 11 people. When I called Enterprise they told me the NCL special was $49.99 for an economy. This would have been a better option from IAH but we were able to get great airfare to Hobby which is what we wanted.
