I cruised Alaska last summer on the Spirit.... There were no DVD playersor VHS players in my balcony cabin.... There is a small TV, and it had a few channels, a few were infocomercials.... However, the Spirit does have a small theater playing movies and a movie channel on the TV showing recently released movies.....Frankly, there was so much nature to view, plus all of the activity on board the ship to do to watch much television.... Get out of the cabin and enjoy life.....
