Have a great time on this ship. We just returned . The cruise director, Paul Baya is fabulous. The shows at night were terrific. Feel free to e-mai me with questions.

Hi Chance: We are cruising the Sun January 25th also, I post on Cruise Critics, but just found this board. We also plan to book the Appleton Rum Tour and YS FAlls. We haven't gotten our docs yet, but they should be here anyday. We were on the Sun last December, but didn't get to tender to Grand Cayman so missed the stingrays, so had to try again....last year was our first cruise and we had a very nice time. We did go to Cozumel, spent the day on the beach at Chankanaub and snorkeling, then finished by shopping with a quick peak at Carlos and Charlies, so crowded we ended up at Senior Frogs. Plan to get off the ship and head to Majahaul in Costa Maya, hopefully just walk there, beach and a local brew, then try the port area...may snorkel right at the pier as heard it was OK there. We are 51 and 53, leaving the cold of the state of Washington for a couple weeks of warmth. Happy sailing.

Ebbtide, we were also just on the Sun for New Years. When did you sail? Maybe we were on the same cruise. We also had a terrific time.

We were on the SUN for the Dec. 7-14 sailing. We also sailed on the Norway twice prior to her fire!! We have never done a holiday sailing and would be interested in hearing about it. Sailed the Windward back in the 90's. Have also been on other lines.
We are going to try Carnival for the first time in March. The Miracle out of JAX. She is still in Finland under construction.
