jcjr, it may not be a great deal but when traveling in July or early August you will pay top $$. The only period that would be as higher or worse would be Christman week and Spring break. Late July is the last big vacation time before some schools start the fall semester. As for better deals and other lines, this depends on the age of the ship, itinerary, etc. I have clients going on Carnival the first week of August out of NOLA> a 4 day cruise, older ship, standard outside cabin is running about $700 per person. That does include all taxes.Nita
