My husband and I and 2 other couples are booked on Mariner sailing out of Port Canaveral June 15, 2008....now our daughter and another couples son want to join us....where and when should we try to find them a cheap, room---even an inside room is a possibility. My TA is working on it but didnt know if there was somewhere online I could check out too. Thanks!

From what I've experienced recently booking our first cruise on Royal Caribbean,
there is no such thing as a "cheap" room. Everyone quotes the same price for
any given catagory (unlike carnival where you can get 10 different prices on the same catagory)

The agents will compete for your business by offering you onboard cabin credit.
A fixed cash amount that is automatically credited to your onboard account.
Different agents offer different amounts.
I have had my best luck booking cruises at this site.

Cruise Compete

Simply sign up for free and then input the cruise you want a price on.
Within minutes you will have numerous agents making offers for your business.
Read the details, call them if you like for more details or questions....
I think it's the best way to book a cruise.

If you Google "Last Minute Cruises" you will get numerous sites that offer last minute deals. I have booked all past cruises through these sites such as Vacations to go, cruises only, cruise 411. I have never had to pay more than $100/night for any of them, and that was for mostly oceanview staterooms. Royal Carribean has One Day Sales usually on Tuesdays so if you are comparing prices watch for these. We saved about $50.00 each on our most recent cruise by booking on a Tuesday. Also, be careful to check if Port charges, Taxes, and Fuel Surcharges are included in your quote. If any questions, there is always a phone # posted on these sites you can call and confirm the quote before booking. Hope this has been helpful and have a great time on your cruise!
