I went on the Dawn to Bermuda last year...mid May. The sea was absolutely awful...really awful....both ways. It was so bad I vowed never to sail again. (The first morning out the ship looked like a ghost town because so few people left their cabins. ) But, others on the ship, who had made the trip before said that the seas were extremely bad compared to other sailings.However, I heard that the next week the sea was smooth as glass. So it's hit and miss.As far as the weather...it was great walking around weather. People were on the beach...but it wasn't hot that you wanted to dive in.
