Need help with a Bahamas offer

I had a relative call me this morning and ask me about a hotel/cruise offer and gave me the phone number of the company giving the offer.

Anyways, the deal is for a 2 night stay in Ft. Lauderdale, FL and a week cruise to the Bahamas for a week for $200 a person in late May. I don't know, but that price sound a little fishy to me. There is no way it is a major cruise line. I asked my cousin, what cruise line? But, she didn't know.

I called the number, but no answer. They say to leave a message. But, I noticed that they don't give their name on the answering machine.

I went to the National Better Business Business Bureau site and typed in the phone number. The BBB had no information. I also look the number up with the Southeast Florida BBB and they had no information either.

Does anyone have any ideas?

See if it is associated with one of the major chains. I'm guessing it's very fishy.

I got an ad on a similar deal. The 2 day stay was at a small motel. Th Bahamas cruise was on one of the day ships (Discovery, Seascape, etc) and you spend a week in a hotel in the Bahamas. You may have another deal. If you do let everyone know.

How often have you heard the expression, "if it sounds to good to be true, it probably is". Buyer Beware. Someone expecting to spend $ 200.00 for a weeks vacation which includes transportation is the kind of sucker these people pray upon. My guess is if you accept the "great deal" it will be a vacation you will always remember.

Ouch. This "deal" doesn't sound like a deal to me. A company should be willing to say who it is. If not, it's either disorganized or dishonest and who wants to deal with either?

We found that is was a Discovery cruise for $200.00 and kids are free. You stay in the Bahamas for a week. It doesn't sound good to me at all. I told my aunt and cousins that this wasn't a real cruise.

I also told them if they want to "keep up with the Jones" and go on a cruise like I did, to go on the real thing. I offered to help them make arrangments, but I think the price tag of the Navigator scared them.
