Just returned from a cruise on the Legend...the sister ship of Splendor. Loved it. Beds are all new and very comfortable. They supply shampoo in a dispenser in the shower, we brought our own.

Just loved the ship. The Windjammer buffet is delicious. You can also get food in the Solarium pool area (hamburgers, hot dogs and pizza). We loved the dining in the dining room for dinner as well. Lots of choices. These guys go out of their way to serve you well.

Mediterrainean seas mostly smooth, can get choppy. I used Meclizine (Bonine)pills cheaper if you get a prescription from your doc for Meclizine...took it mostly at night around 6, and did well with that and the wristbands (accupressure) you can get those in any drug store or AAA office $8-10.

Oh!!! Thank you, thank you!!! You are my only reply! I saw your post returning from the Med and already wrote with loads of questions... Regarding motion sickness, I believe that you refer to Antivert - I got them,my concern is getting sleepy when I don't want to, but I'll get Bonine non-drowsy. I'll check on the wristbands. Good to hear beds are comfy and food good.
In case you have not seen the other post, I need to know outlet type, wake-up call for the morning or we should get an alarm, etc. We've booked the shore excursions already, and we hope it is not too cold!
Thanks again!:)D

After a day or two the Mecclizine does not make you drowsy at all. If you read the label on Bonine, it is mecclizine! LOL! My doctor told me it was much better than anything else. Hey, it worked! But, like anything else, you have to take it before you get sick. Starting it a couple of days before you go would not be a bad idea. Start at night before you go to bed. It won't leave you groggy.

We brought our travel clock with us, but I really enjoyed using the wake up calls. Very easy to use!

I will go back and find the other post if I can...I am new here and not used to navigating!

Ask away! will be happy to answer any questions!

Thanks again! I'm new here as well... sort of hooked and I sign off and do my chores!!!!!!!!! :lol
But I'll be looking for anything you post. Whatever you believe would be helpful, post it. I'll get the Bonine, just in case...
I want to relax and have fun - oh, did you get any spa treatment? I was wondering about the cost?? must be high
What about exercise? Do they offer aerobic, yoga and stuff like that?
Thanks again and again!

They sure do. They have a wonderful gym there. The treadmills overlook the ocean. How cool is that? The spa is great, but I didn't use it this time.

We used the hot tub and the pool in the Solarium. Go during the dinner hour...if you are late seating, go there around 6. If you are early seating, go at 8!

Spa can get pricey. Average price is between $100 and $150 depending on the service you select. But, when the ship is in port, major discounts are offered.

Hmmmm... great to know about the major discount!!!! I will make sure to check that out - I'm on shore excursions, but when I get back I could probably make a previous appointment. GREAT! Thanks

Bring a power strip with you. Only one outlet in the cabin. When wife has blower dryer and curling iron going, hard to plug in the CD player for Jimmy Buffet music!!!!
