Hello everyone,

My husband and I will be sailing on the millie for the first time on Nov 30. We've always sailed using the ncl and princess lines but thought we'd like to try celebrity this time. Word of mouth says millie is great. We are also both ballroom dance addicts and we'd like to know if they play ballroom music on the ship.

We sail the Eastern Carribean on this itenerary and I was looking at the tours for Casa De Campo and San Juan Puerto Rico. Has anyone tried the "Kandela" tour at Casa De Campo. Is it any good? We can't make up our minds on what to do at San Juan so we are open to suggestions.

What is the best day to book at the Olympic Restaurant?

Thanks everyone. Your help is appreciated.

We just got off the Mille this past Sunday.

We had a great cruise although we are not ballroom dancers , there were people dancing in the Rendez Vous Lounge before the late seating dinner.

We did arrive in Caso De Campo late on Tuesday. We arrived at 500 PM. When we left Ft Lauderdale we were told that we would arrrive late and they gave an hour and a half of free drinks to all guests to make up for the lateness. Never did find out why we were late.

We ate in the Olympic restaurant on Monday night the first formal night and we ate there on Thursday night. Great experience.

The food and service were great and I hope you enjoy yourself as much as we did.

Rumba, We are on the same cruise. Have you signed up for the Cruisecritic party that is available on Celebrity? Also go to www.Cruisecritc.com and click on the roll call page for Celebrity, we have a thread going and have a lot of fun people siging up. All age groups, but always room for more! Most have cruises on Milly before and have many tips on the cruise. Hope to see you on board. Casa de Campo will be new for us also, so no help there. Olympic restaurant is filling up fast because anyone who is a Captains Club member can sign up before the cruise. If you like Celebrity, i would reccomend signing up for the Capt Club while on board.

Thank you BP and Fllady for the info. Thanks also for the tip on cruisecritic.com. We are both excited on this trip and can hardly wait for the day to come. We'd love to try the Olympic Restaurant and hope we'll get the opportunity. Thought we could try it on the day when the ship docks at Casa De Campo. We are looking forward to meeting you there Jeanne and Ellis.

Mille was our 2nd cruise & 2nd Celebrity cruise. Although this was back on Jan 02
everything was a 10. The ship, the service,
the food. We booked the Olympic as soon as we could after boarding and got the day and time with no problem. We booked ours after our beach day on Catalina Island D.R.

Wow, we loved it, the service was fantastic and the food was to die for. We are still talking about the experience. You will love the ship and the food. Enjoy.

The Kandella show is great, do not miss it. Altos DeChavon is the outdoor theatre it is performed in. The Olympic dining room is great, go any night you are able to make a reservation for.

Second weeks cruise to Casa de Campo has returned. Beach tour was given a thumbs up but I don't have details. Another poster said it included drinks & food. Hope to learn more soon. Casa de Campo night Tuesday is a good night to book Olympic although that is open seating in the dining room and a casual night. You will need a jacket and tie for the Olympic. Only one informal night was held during 1st. week's cruise.
Bon Voyage
