Most of the cruise you can hang out on the Lido deck (deck 14) and be just fine. This deck has good views and many of the areas are protected from the wind. During the Tracy Arm cruising it seems that everybody runs to this deck and it gets quite busy. If you are not use to cooler weather take a jacket and gloves so you can hangout on one of the decks above Lido where it isn't so busy. We found the best place to be on the back of the ship on the Sports deck. There wasn't too many passengers there because most of the passengers run to the front of the ship when it enters the Tracy Arm. The views are just as good from the back and many people didn't realize the ship utilizes the same route to go to/from the glaciers so you will have a chance to see things again when you are leaving the arm. Princess.com has a deck layout for the Sapphire if you don't have one.
