Need some help with aruba please :)

I need some help for those of you that have been there before, is there good local bars and resturants within walking distance from the pier, shops, and such....

I am booking independantly from the ship through ABC tours in aruba, anyone had any expeirience with them, i havent booked yet so if anyone knows a great tour operator please send the info my way

And in anyones opinion, de palm island, eagle beach ?? which one which one , or a better question which one is closest to the cruise ship terminal??

:wave Melissa...I'm Baccckkk..:grin..Eagle Beach is fun for water sports and quite close to the pier..and the water is clean..no snorkeling really but for the lay out and enjoy the beach factor,...you cannot go wrong....:thumb....I think you'll enjoy it....as far as I know ABC tours were OK....=shrug never heard anything bad..we rent a car soo......we like the restaurants further out..if you want to try the Sunset Bistro at Divi Phoenix, the Buccaneer, or and this one is pricey- Downtown......El Gauchos..mmmm Mmmm..the best Argentinian Beef I have ever had...bars-....there is Iguana Joes, and Carlos and Charlie's...right there a stones throw from the ship....need I say more.?????..:lol..... =twobeer =gulp :cheers...:grin....enjoy..we so love our timeshare in Aruba...:thumb...:)..Joanne

I've never eaten there myself, but I've heard from several different couples that El Gauchos is the best restaurant on the island. :thumb
