Need some prayers again

Need some thoughts and prayers today. My dh is going to be having some blockages in his leg opened up today. They are going in through his leg artery and doing angioplasty and putting in stents. I am hoping that this will help him walk without pain again and get enough blood flow to his foot. After they do the right leg they will later do his left leg.

We found out 2 weeks ago that he has 2 arteries in each leg blocked and his right leg is much worst than his left leg for some reason.

I have seen (well read) first hand on this board with Paw what can happen. He really wants to get well enough to go deer hunting this fall and winter.

Anyway, thanks in advance for your prayers.

Well, the news is not that great. He didn't have anything done today because it was much worse than even the mra showed. He is going to have to have bypass surgery on his right leg with a cadaver vein to connect from his groin to his calf. He doesn't have a vein long enough in either of is legs because he had coronary bypass surgery in 2000.

His foot is in much worse shape than they had thought at first. There is a real chance that he may lose his foot. I am a optomist so I am only thinking the best outcome.

Diabetes, high blood pressure, heredity and smoking really do bad things to you.
