I wish HAL would update deck plans on their site. When they add a Neptune during a drydock they don't show it on the site, so it is hard to know which ships have one now. Sometimes it seems like it is pulling teeth to get information out of HAL when these changes certainly make booking a ship more attractive to consider.
I myself know the ships that have them, but thanks for listing them for others who might not. BUT, wouldn't you think HAL could update the deck plan on their site to show the Neptune as they add it to a ship. Now really, how hard can that be to do. Plus not everyone reads these message boards where of course the info is up to the minute, but do check out the HAL site and would have no idea about the Neptune if they are interested in a suite.
Just checked their web site. All the ships that currently have Neptune Lounges do show them on their deck plans - both before and after 12/17. Statendam and Ryndam are the only two that had them added (as of now), and they're right where they're supposed to be - on Navigation Deck.
Well, I look like an idiot, don't I! LOL. Actually they must have re-done the deck plans very recently because I checked not that long ago when the subject of where Neptunes had been added and the old deck plans were still there. Maybe the messages here do get through to the powers that be.
You're right, sail. I'm looking at the Maasdam for the not too distant future and sure would like to keep the coming Neptune a secret so there will be some good suites available. Did I say that? No, no, there is NOT going to be a Neptune on the Maasdam for at least 5 years!
Maven....it drives my TA nuts!!! Whenever we are "just chatting" and I mention something re: HAL I learned on the Boards or from our friends aboard the ships.....she sort of growls a bit We have a great relationship and she often will call me when she has clients asking questions she isn't positive re: the answer or for an opinion did I agree with a recommendation she made for a client she is feeling her way with.
Even though she can certainly read a deck plan, she is wise enough to know there are little idiosyncracies (sp ?) on the ships and she likes to check if "she missed something" she should have noticed.
