Looks like 18 year olds will have to wait a few more years to cruise with Princess without an older person with them:
Age Policy
As of August 1, 2007 Princess has instituted a change to our age policy for travel. For all new bookings only, any passenger who is under the age of 21 years (as of the date of sailing) must be traveling with someone who is at least 21 years of age. This changes the age for traveling alone from 18 to 21 years.
For families who are traveling in multiple staterooms, it is still acceptable to reserve a separate stateroom for children, provided that one of the passengers in the cabin is at least 16 years of age (as of the date of sailing) and one of the family members in the other stateroom is at least 21 years of age.
According to the Princess statement above, you can have someone linked to your reservation that is older than 21, so they don't actually have to have that person in the same cabin with them. Do you think this is a change for the better?
