We were on a cruise in Dec 2003 in New Orleans on the Dream and stayed @ The Sheraton, had to take a cab....I don't think any of the hotels offer shuttle service...In March we are going again and we are staying in the Covention Center District @ the Courtyard Marriott....it is practically 1 block from the pier...almost across the street....still too far to walk with luggage, but a cab probably would cost you a small expense....The Convention Center district is the place to stay because it is so close....Also book your hotel on Priceline.com...got our hotel 4 star for 50$$ in Dec for the night...80$$ per night for a 3 star in March....Good luck
