Go to the "Reviews" board and look at some reader reviews for the Dream. They'll give you some useful information about the good & not-so-good things about the ship. Be sure to read several, because one person's gold is another person's brass. We've not yet sailed on her, but in August of 2004 we'll be sailing the Dream through the Baltic Sea to Scandinavia with stops in Germany & Russia. We can't wait! Only about 350 days to go!! <smile>KV
P.S. Sorry, 'bama honeymooners, but my advice about going to the Reviews was a bummer. I just looked there myself, and there are only a handful of reviews for the Dream (most of them old). You might get some useful info. It can't hurt to look. But they're not as helpful as I had hoped. Sorry! Have a great honeymoon anyway.

Bama13, Our group will be on the first sailing on the Dream our of New Orleans. I will post a review or you can email me and I will send it to you direct. We have sailed only Carnival before and look forward to see the new ports of call. My daughter and her new hubby will also be on their honeymoon...and me and my hubby always are on our honeymoon! The reviews I had read seem to be pretty good. I really don't care that much about fancy food. I love the burgers and pizza. I just love drinks with little barbie umbrellas, blue water and music! So I guess you could say,,I just love cruising! We always hit Carlos and Charlies hard in Cozumel and that is the Dream's first stop. I am planning to pace myself. 10AM to 7PM in Cozumel is down right dangerous for me! We are going to snorkel and go to Mr Sanchos and then...........Carlos and Charlies!!!

I was on her in April. If you have specific questions, please post and I will try and aswer them.

She is an older NCL ship, "stretched" to add more cabins. This means that the shortest distance between two points is often not a straight line!

I have sailed on her pre and post stretch. The food was quite good in the dining rooms. Buffetts fairly small except poolside BBQs which were nice.

Did not do the shows.

Cabins are smallish.
