I, for one, like this new program. Under the old program, the cruise booking was handled by a 3rd party travel agency. The seamiles were never enough to get that so-called free booking. The fares were on the higher side. This new program is better. You can redeem the points on qualifying purchases of $50 dollars or more when the payment/purchase was a Carnival transaction. I have made 2 payments towards my cruise one was $230 and the other was $200. Both qualify to be redeem by points on the website.
