We are a couple 35 and 36. We have sailed Princess and Royal Car., and loved both of them, but are prefer good food, and a step-up in quality over glitz, group-games, etc.

Does anyone have some advice about how you feel we would like the Millenium (Eastern Carrib.) as compared to the Golden Princess or Navigator?

I appreciate any help. Thanks.

I have been on 5 Celebrity and total of 26 cruises, but not Princess. Royal Caribbean twice and they were very nice. Celebrity is RCI upscale cruise. You would enjoy it.
Did Millennium in July 2000 to the Baltic and it was one of the best cruises I have been on.

We are embarking on our 14th. cruise soon on the Millennium (2nd. time on Millie), our 36 yr. old daughter and 38 yr. old Son-in-law picked this ship and cruise itinerary for its good value, great reputation and overall positive cruise experience. We too have sailed 3 RCI ships, 2 Princess, 3 Carnival and 5 Celebrity ships including the Grand which although I liked it, it is probably my least favorite cruise for various reasons including the ship is just too large. You do not have 24 hr. dining, the disco is not going to be jumping like the great disco on the Grand, entertainment is varied and good depending on what you like. Like cabin categories are equal on Princess and Celebrity. The service and attention to detail is just a step above for a great price usually. As long as you are not looking to be constantly entertained, I would give Celebrity Millennium class ships a try.
Bon Voyage
