Hi -We're on the Elation for a 5 day leaving out of San Diego on 12/26 - not our first cruise (our 3rd with Carnival, 8th in all) but our first over the holidays. What can I expect in terms of extra celebration? New year's eve is the last night of the cruise - but might they move the formal night to then? Yes, I know it will be cold. I'm not worried about it - we have friends in Cabo and don't plan to disembark in Ensenada. Hoping mostly to enjoy the shows, hit the spa, eat, relax : )Also - will have a 2 year old and 5 year old in tow - we've had good experiences with childcare before, can I expect the same? Thanks!
