[quote Ted_D]RLAEKEMAN,

Everyone is entitled to their opinion.  But, do not be put off by the previous poster's comment about

your wardrobe needing to be upgraded coming from Carnival to Celebrity.  For nearly all of your

cruise, except dinner in the main dining room, acceptable cruise wear on Celebrity is nearly identical

to what you find on Carnival.  At dinner, however, Celebrity does (usually) enforce a dress code for

the main dining room and you will not see shorts, collarless shirts, flip flops, etc there.  And, on formal

nights, the overwhelming majority of men will have on a suit or tux, with women being dressed in a

variety of dressy outfits.  Celebrity does have a casual dining alternative at night if any of that bothers

you.  Again, however, day time wardrobes are very, very casual with shorts and tees prevailing (except

in Alsaka, of course).

So, do not be put off by the comments of others that might lead you to conclude that everyone is sitting

arounf the pool on a Celebrity ship attired in tuxes.  Ain't so!

Ted, that translates EXACTLY into what I said..."you may have to step up your wardrobe a bit".....Who said anything about people sitting around in tuxes? LOL First you say, you don't need to upgrade, and then you go on to explain (in detail) that you do. A very confusing post Ted.
