CARNIVAL'S RECORD-BREAKING 'FUN SHIP' CRUISE SEASON FROM NEW YORK KICKS OFF
TUESDAY, MAY 13

Eight-Day Caribbean Sailing Aboard Carnival Legend One of 50 'Fun Ship'
Departures from Big Apple

MIAMI (05/07/03) - Carnival Cruise Lines will kick off its largest
ever New York cruise season when the 88,500-ton Carnival Legend departs
Tuesday, May 13, 2003, on the inaugural sailing of a unique eight-day
Caribbean schedule - the only Caribbean cruise program from the Big Apple
this cruise season.
Tuesday's sailing is the first of a record 50 "Fun Ship" departures from New
York, making Carnival one of the largest users of the Port of New York this
season. Also included in the line's 2003 New York cruises are seven-day
Bermuda sailings, four- and five-day Canada cruises, seven-day "fall
foliage" cruises, and two-day cruises.
"With its strong tourist appeal and convenient, centralized location, New
York is a very popular homeport for our guests and Carnival's 2003 'Fun
Ship' cruise schedule from New York is bigger and better than ever,
providing a wide spectrum of destinations and itinerary lengths to match any
budget or vacation preference," said Bob Dickinson, Carnival president.

Unique Round-Trip Eight-Day Caribbean Voyages from New York
Carnival Legend will operate an innovative eight-day round-trip Caribbean
program from New York May 13 - Oct. 12, 2003. The five-month-long program
features three different tropical destinations - San Juan, St. Thomas/St.
John and Tortola/Virgin Gorda, each of which offer magnificent beaches,
outstanding shopping and interesting attractions and historical landmarks.
The unusual eight-day rotation creates a wide range of days of the week on
which voyages will depart and return, providing maximum choice and
flexibility for guests.

First-Ever Seven-Day Bermuda Voyages Aboard Carnival Pride

Carnival Pride will operate a series of seven week-long Bermuda
sailings from New York July 16 - Aug. 27, 2003.
Voyages offer four days in Bermuda docked at King's Wharf, a centuries-old
port city that is home to exceptional shopping and dining opportunities, as
well as a number of historical sites and landmarks. Guests can also visit
the island's legendary pink-sand beaches and partake in a wide variety of
watersports, including snorkeling, kayaking and scuba diving.

Four-, Five- and Seven-Day Voyages Aboard Carnival Victory
Carnival will also continue to operate its popular summer-long four-
and five-day round-trip Canada cruises and seven-day "fall foliage" cruises
from New York aboard the 102,000-ton Carnival Victory. The program will run
June 23 - Sept. 1, 2003.
Four-day cruises, which sail Thursday through Monday and call at
Halifax, Nova Scotia, provide an ideal weekend getaway. Five-day cruises,
which depart on Mondays and Saturdays, visit Halifax and Saint John, New
Brunswick. Both ports offer a variety of fine restaurants, exquisite
boutiques and myriad sightseeing destinations.
Seven-day fall foliage cruises depart New York each Saturday Sept. 6 - 27,
2003, and visit historic Boston; Portland, Maine; and Sydney and Halifax,
Nova Scotia, each of which offers a personality and charm all its own.
Unlike most fall foliage cruises from New York, which operate north or
southbound starting and ending in two different locations, Carnival Victory
sails round-trip, providing added convenience for guests.

Two-Day Cruises Aboard Carnival Pride, Carnival Victory
As part of its summer schedule from New York, Carnival Victory will operate
three two-day cruises this summer - June 17, 19 and 21 - operating
round-trip from the Big Apple. Prior to the start-up of its Bermuda
schedule, Carnival Pride will also sail on a two-day cruise from New York
July 14-16, 2003.
