i have always found that the entrance to the main lounges and show rooms, are always full of smokers......i have always hated standing in line waiting for the show and having to stand in the smoke......plus my clothes smelled like it the rest of the night.......but elsewhere on the boat smoking was not a problem for me.As for the decor on Carnival....i have been on 3 ships.......andi find the decor to be exciting and fun.....not chic or sophisticated.......but fun, funny and like a wild dream...just the way i think they want their "FUN"ships to be.........party or R&R......to each his own.
