Hi Neighbor!!!! We (Meg and Daryle) are in 7132 (look for the sign on the door). Meg was on NE last year. Small ship, good food, great service. We should look for a bunch of people who like to party. We like the shows, gambling, a bit of drinking and hanging out. Been to all the ports already. Chankanaab in Cozumel is great. I am 53 and Meg is younger (not allowed to put her age here). We are from Tampa. How old are you? From where? Other info? Wanna get together for a drink or six? We have late dining........ (drdoman@hotmail.com)

Hey Daryle! Glad to hear from you...I'll be turning 44 the day we are in Grand Cayman and my wife, Johnella, is younger. We are definitely into gambling and spend every evening in the casino - and some day hours while at sea. We do not really do the shows too much, except for maybe a late night comedian.

Send me an email at jeffkoz@yahoo.com and we'll start setting some stuff up. Maybe we can get a Quest team together (we have never played but have heard good things).

We are considering the dolphin encounter in Cozumel, as its one of those excursions we have seen/hard about a lot and want to try. We usually do the Fiesta PArty boat (hey, free margaritas and rum punch); but our last journey there had us taking that trip at 8am (which did not stop the drinking, just made it more interesting).

Belize we are only tendering in for a little shopping and a stop at the Wet Lizard.

We are stil looking at Grand Cayman. We have never left the ship when there before.

Chankanaab Park in Cozumel is great and is where the dolphin encounter is. You can just go there and do it and don't need to do the ship's tour, which is more expensive. I think thay have a web site. I was there last cruise and the snorkeling is great and it's only $10 to get in! In Cayman we did the Stingray City excursion 2 cruises ago (fantastic fun with Captain Marvin - ship's tour was cancelled) and last cruise did the snorkel at Eden Rock right there in town. I am still looking into Belize. Was there once and did the snorkel trip from the cruise (Carnival) which was cool! Not sure what to do this time....maybe the shark encounter or cave tubing. Didn't get a chance to see the town last time other than right at the port (not much there). What and where is the Wet Lizard? I need to hit a pharmacy while there.

For sure we need to celebrate your birthday! I'll drink to that!!! In fact, I'll pretty much toast anything. I hear the lounges are real nice on this ship. We plan on arriving at the doc around noon in Tampa. I'll send you a note to discuss further.
Meg and I both like to gamble. Will spend as much time as luck and money holds out!!!

Anyone else out there going on this cruise?

We were on the Carnival Pride last June and took the Goffs Caye snorkel trip - wonderful day and trip - considering its nothing but a sand dune. We did not tender into land that day.

The Wet Lizard is a bar at the dock in Belize. It is supposed to the left as you tender in and look up you see the balcony. It is owned by a Georgia lady and is mentioned on cruise critics. Sounds like she is really friendly and loves the fact when it is mentioned you read about her place on the boards (maybe even gives a freebie or two).

I think we might do the nautilus snorkel trip in Cayman...sounds like fun and not too expensive.

The port is about 2-3 miles from our house and we'll probably be there about 10:30/11:00. Never too early to start the party....after we drop bags off we'll be up to lunch and then I'm usually found on the upper decks with a miami vice in one hand nd a cigarette or my video recorder in the other. :)

Look forward to hearing from you!

Hey all....My wife Shawna and I (Wayne) will be on the NE in March. This is our 1st cruise and we are quite excited. We look forward to meeting lots of people, relaxing and enjoying time without 2 small children for a week.

We are from British Columbia Canada and are arriving into Tampa on the 19th. Any ideas as to Hotels that are close to Port as we dont the the area at all. We just neeed a bed, nothing fancy as we get in late Friday and the ship boards early Sat.

Thanks in advance and look forward to meeting you all!!!!!
