Norway AD Penthouses

I am due to sail on the Norway's classic caribbean cruise on the 4th January 2004, with my husband and another couple. We are in AD penthouses on Sun Deck Nos S032 and S030. Has anyone had these staterooms and if so what are they like. I have seen pictures of the AC and AB ones but not yet found anyone who has been in the AD category. Also this cruise is all inclusive, and I would be interested to hear from anyone who has cruised with the Norway this way.

Lastly I am sorry for everyone whose cruise has been cancelled because of the explosion, hope you all find good alternatives. Also it was very very sad to hear about the loss of crew members.

Sandieh, will are sailing the same day, pretty exciteing huh? We have an AE suite, k008 I believe. Our daughter is AD suite S003. Cruise critic I think it was had some that had cruised in these suites. You may want to check them out? Maybe we can or will meet. How many cruises have you been on and how many NCL? This will be our 6th NCL I think. Happy cruisin

Hi Nita, we will look out for you, can' wait to go. It is our first NCL cruise, sailed three times before on Island Breeze (no longer in service), the Emerald and last August on the Grand Princess. We renewed our vows on the Princess and it was a really fantastic cruise. We were in a balcony stateroom and it was brilliant sipping champagne as we left Miami. Looking forward to doing it again.

See you in January

Sandra, just think we can sip our champange as we wave good bye to Miami and if I understand it right the champange is on them. I think we get champange in our room with a suite. What fun. I know it's over 6 months away, but I think about the cruise daily. This is the furthest in advance we have ever booked. Usually we book about 3 months prior to sailing, sometimes not even that long. You will find the Norway very different from Princess I am sure, but it will be so great to sail a ship designed for thrans Atlantic voyages and one that truely had all the different classes.

Later,

Nita

I think you are right about the champagne Nita, as well as a few other little bits and pieces. I am looking forward to sailing on a ship with so much history attached to it, and look forward to having a drink with you a your family and will keep in touch with any news I hear about the ship. I've just looked at the web cam and it not showing the port anymore so it looks like it is on it's way to have the repairs carried out. Let's keep our fingers crossed that all goes well.

Bye for now

Sandra
