Richard:

The Norway group on Yahoo has a database with the square footage of many of the Norway's cabins...
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/SS_NORWAY/

NCL's reservation system, on their website, returns square footage along with other cabin details as the last step in the reservation process. I obtained the square footage on about 10 cabins that way... it's amazing how much the cabin sizes vary from grade to grade (and even within grades).

dear -hope to sail on the norway in march, it doesn't look good for the norway besides they are not accepting monies for the norway in march of2004 they are all canceled indefinately they were cancelled until april and now it is indifinately so i would not worry about the size of the cabins, worry about getting a refund ,if you made deposit.besides to answer your question if you are in a low catagory the cabins are very small but you can book two to a cabin and afford to buy two for the same price as a higher category which really isn't that much bigger the norway is an old ship and the cabins are mostly small ,but ok ,and we usually book three of them the lowest catagory next to each other to be comfortable .-

I believe there are 26 configerations. Some cabins are only 88 sq. ft, the size of a broom closet, so unless you ask your TA to be specific with the size you may get a very small room. I booked on the internet the last time (cancelled trip) and of course they aren't familiar with the ship. I asked them to call NCL and ask the size, NOT the parameters. I am sure they weren't happy about doing it, however they did. We have been on her several times and our last cabin was very small, 132 sq. ft. but we did fine. There's lots to do on the ship and I only hope she returns to the sea.
