I haven't sailed on the SS Norway yet (I am booked on the 9/7 sailing this fall) but I have done extensive research on the ship and the cabins and have heard such wonderful things! I understand that some of the inside cabins on the bottom decks can be very small...as little as 70 square feet. Also, many of the cabins have 2 twin beds that cannot be pushed together, and the $249.00 price is probably for the bunk-bed cabins. I'm traveling w/my boyfriend and we decided to take a gamble and reserved a guaranteed cabin...I'm interested to see what we end up with! A tip...if you book with Travelocity by May 5th (and pay your deposit upon booking) you receive $100.00 shipboard credit per cabin. That may 'make up' for the higher cruise price you'll probably have to pay to get a cabin with no bunkbeds.Good luck!!
