Hi all, we had our cruise on Norway booked for Jan 4th sailing and only found out yesterday that this will now not happen. Went into our travel agents (we live in England) and that phone NCL for us. They were told that all passengers booked on the Norway would first of all be offered an alternative cruise and that they would be writing to everyone in date order. Our agent asked if we would be offered the same accommodation as booked and NCL said they would do their best but could give no guarantee at this time. Also our cruise was all inclusive and the 50$ per person on board credit is not going to be any help at all on that score. We booked an all inclusive deal so that we would not have the large bill at the end of the cruise as I am sure have many others and also we were in a penthouse suite and I have compared prices with the other NCL ships and they are much higher than the Norway.

Our agents suggest we leave it for about 4 weeks and then they will ring NCL again to see what updates are available. What I did find extraordinary was the fact that our travel agents did not even know there had been an explosion let alone that the cruise was cancelled.

I hope that everyone does get a good alternative and that there will still be chance to meet up.
