Baystate, you are getting me too excited. I knew about the transporting to Germany and agreed. The first reports seemed to indicate, prior to leaving Miami, they didn't know who was going to do the repairs. Guess the decision has been made. Thank God. Do you notice all those who have negative feeling about her are postive she will never sail again. Could it be, they just want to say "I told you so" Those of us who feel positive are honest enough to admit we do not have a clue and realize anything can happen. I am sure you read the article in the Miami Herald with all kinds of ifs and maybes and probably nots. If the Norway reaches Germany by Wed or Thurs as planned. They can take a week to investigate and give an estimate; that still allows them 2 months for repairs and over a week to get her back to Miami. Some say the insurence will only pay to get her back in her old condition; that is only partially true. That's like saying if your house burns down the insurence will only cover putting everything back the way it was, old heating system, original plumbing, and so on. It depends on how much insurence you are carrying. That's my lecture to the world of cruise boards for today. Or at least for the next couple of hours. Nita
