What are you looking for in a cruise and are you 20 something or 50 something? All these things will enter into the picture; no one can give you an answer, but we can give you ideas on the cruise lines if nothing else. NCL attracks a very wide range of ages, probably has the biggest overall spread of all lines. This doesn't mean you will find only young couples on any one line or only those aging, ageless widows on another line, it's just a generalization. NCL has better entertainment and usually better itieneraries, Carnival will have larger cabins and probably more activities. I like the food on NCL much better especially with the alternate restaurants. You just have to decide what are your likes and dislikes. Of course price will be a consideration. If NCL were less expensive or about the same I think I would opt for them. Hope this helps a little.Nita
