I was on the 6/15 sailing of the Dawn. We did not pull out of NY harbor because on the ship's return the week earlier there was a sick child that had to be taken off in Florida. Hey, things happen. Open bar was what they gave us for the delay. We got on at about 6:30 p.m. and went directly to dinner at Impressions. Dinner was wonderful. We then met some people at the Internet cafe that we met on line (cruisecritic). Then went to see another friend in her suite. Next day took the bus to Magic Kingdom, only had four hours there due to the late arrival. But I had to go never being there before. Had a blast. We took the NCL bus there and it was great. We had dinner at Aqua (our fav), Venetian, Cagneys (wonderful, my husband had a 24 oz porterhouse - 17.50). Things that are a must:

Do not miss:

Pam a the piano bar at Gatsby's
the poolside barbecue
ice cream at the pool
fruit bowl - a wonderful drink with rum, triple sec and fruit juice
salsa
the full length beach chair in the jacuzzi in the spa - you must go to the spa and sit in the chairs that face the back of the boat for a wonderful rest

We took the Discover Atlantis tour which was very interesting. Did not get off in Miami or the private Island. I will be happy to answer any other ?'s you may have.
