Norwegian for honeymoon?

I posted in the general cruise line question forum about my honeymoon March 11, 2006. We have narrowed it to a choice of 3 cruises....RCCL Radience, Celebrity Mellenium or the Norwegian Jewel. I have gotten a good response on the other 2 cruise lines, but nothing on Norwegian. I know the Jewel is so new so it might be hard to get a good response on that ship in particular, but what about Norwegian in general. It would be an Eastern Carib 7 night. We like the idea of freestyle crusing, but are still a little confused about it overall. Any suggestions you guys have on Norwegian would be wonderful. I have never cruised and fiance has only cruised once a looooong time ago. Anything you hav that could help would be great.

Between those three choices, I would pick the Jewel. The Jewel is NCL's largest and newest ship.
Why? Because as newlyweds you will probably be arriving late to every meal. On RCCL and Celeberity, your dinning table mates will not appreciate you being late. On the NCL Jewel, with its Freestyle Dinning, you can arrive for dinner anytime you wish and dine at your own romantic two seat table. You will not have to share a table with six other strangers. RCCL and Celeberity also have formal nights where everyone dinning is expected to dress up formally. On NCL, you do not have to dress up formally on the "optional" fprmal nights.

We picked the Jewel for our honeymoon (nov 6th, 2005). One of the big deciding factors for us was that it's a new ship and it's BIG. Can't beat knowing that you are one of the "first" people to cruise on it. Actually, we will be with the first group to cruise from Miami to the caribbean itenirary on the Jewel :)

Another reason we chose the jewel was the itenirary. I have cruised parts of the caribbean before & with 4 ports on our 7 day trip, it offered more for the money.

Of course I am an NCL loyalist, but cruise and represent all lines. The Jewel is just the best at sea in my estimation. Also, as newly weds, freestyle should suit you as you can choose to eat with others or get a table for 2. We sometimes want to visit, but other times enjoy just enjoy talking to each other. The restaurant selections are certainly a plus. though we do like Celebrity it is very subdued and does not offer the variety of activities and dining. Freestyle on the Jewel will give you the standard 2 dining rooms, 3 specialty restaurants with extra charges ranging in the $10 to $20 price tag plus casual dining in Blue Lagoon and a few other choices. Celebrity has one specialty dining option for $35 per person. RCI does have the rock climbing and other on board activities. If you have any more questions I would be glad to try and answer them for you. All your choices are fine, it's a matter of preference.
