We picked the Jewel for our honeymoon (nov 6th, 2005). One of the big deciding factors for us was that it's a new ship and it's BIG. Can't beat knowing that you are one of the "first" people to cruise on it. Actually, we will be with the first group to cruise from Miami to the caribbean itenirary on the Jewel Another reason we chose the jewel was the itenirary. I have cruised parts of the caribbean before & with 4 ports on our 7 day trip, it offered more for the money.
