Of course I am an NCL loyalist, but cruise and represent all lines. The Jewel is just the best at sea in my estimation. Also, as newly weds, freestyle should suit you as you can choose to eat with others or get a table for 2. We sometimes want to visit, but other times enjoy just enjoy talking to each other. The restaurant selections are certainly a plus. though we do like Celebrity it is very subdued and does not offer the variety of activities and dining. Freestyle on the Jewel will give you the standard 2 dining rooms, 3 specialty restaurants with extra charges ranging in the $10 to $20 price tag plus casual dining in Blue Lagoon and a few other choices. Celebrity has one specialty dining option for $35 per person. RCI does have the rock climbing and other on board activities.
