Norwegian Wind / Alaska

Hi there, we are about to take our first curise and its an Alaskan cruise on the Norweign Wind. As this is our first cruise we are slightly unsure and would welcome some help, answers any of the following questions would be much appreciated

1) Any one been on the ship , if so whats it like ?

2) We could only afford a grade CC cabin (well i'm scottish after all ! ) on the international deck so wondering if there is much storage ?

3) Fresstyle dinning is it as good as it seems and will i need my kilt ie what is the dress code ?

4) We are going in July so it will be hot, well compared to scotland, but just how hot ? and will we get attacked by mosquitoes ?

I can answer a few questions:
1. there are a ton of reviews on cruisecritic.com for the Wind. SOm egood some bad.
2. I really love freestyle. It will especially good for Alaska itineraries so you do not miss anything. Also, resort casual is the norm. SO if you do no twant to dress up, than don't.
3. I went in July a few years back and the warmest it got was mid60's. We did not wear any shorts and many days were wore jackets (rain jackets) and sweatshirts. We had no problems with mosquitoes.
Hope this helps.
